The new Windows Live Writer is a new tool from Microsoft that enables you to blog easily to different blogs, where you also see your blogpost in the style of your blog, so if you add a picture you see how it looks at first glance (combined with background for instance.)
I tried creating links that open new browsers so people can keep reading my posts, while in the background the link opens, but for some reason the checkmark: open link in new window does not work (yet)

I finally have my RSS Bandit working: it took me a while to think of the solution. I had the problem that the menu’s provided several objects, the vista glass interface could not take care of.
This always resulted in a hang of my reader. All of a sudden it dawned on me. (should have thought of this before…) disable Glass configure the reader and enable glass again. And indeed this did the trick, I can use the shortcut keys in the menu’s , to accomplish things, but not the menu’s without hanging up my app. If I want to reconfigure, I have to disable glass again, but how often do you reconfigure…
It has arrived, people announced it last week but finally it is here, I am Downloading it now and will try to install tomorrow. I have to teach today, so no time, the story of my life. As soon as something new arrives, I have to teach.
Well, this time it is only just one day dely.
It will not make it at 9.00AM, but it gives me a promising: completing upgrade. So in my first breaki expect the machine to be up and running with Vista Build 5456.
At that moment testing starts at new.
At this very moment I am upgrading my desktop PC to Vista Build 5456. It arrived the day before yesterday, yesterday I did not have enough time to try the upgrade, this morning I was early at work so I decided to give it a go.
I also tried to “upgrade” from Business edition to ultimate edition. So let’s see if that works either, (I realize that if the upgrade does not work, I do not know which is the reason for failure…)
I was too curious though so no worries as they say down under, just try . at this moment My screen tells me he is at 99% of the gathering of files (the problem is, it said so for the last 5 minutes… but there is still visible activity, so I am not interfering yet.)
I’ll keep you posted on both my blogs whether it will work or not.
